- Hard
Outdoor climb figures are rounded reference profiles. Exact VirtualRide distance depends on selected endpoints and available Street View path.

Route character and pacing
Hairpin section is sustained rather than long, with changing grades and exposed mountain weather outdoors. Indoors, use steady threshold blocks or ride visually at self-selected resistance.
Landmarks to watch for
Watch for Stigfossen waterfall, stone parapets, clustered hairpins, and modern visitor centre at plateau. Lower valley opens toward Romsdalen; summit side feels much more enclosed.
Indoor session idea
For a 45–60 minute session, warm up before route, hold controlled tempo through lower section, then ride each visible bend as a short surge. For easier day, follow current quick start downhill and keep output conversational.
Street View setup
Coverage can vary near viewpoints and seasonal closures. Start near visitor centre or lower hairpins and preview route in demo if exact direction matters.
