Bluetooth smart trainers
Supported trainers — among others
VirtualRide pairs over Bluetooth with smart trainers that broadcast FTMS or Cycling Power (CPS). List below is examples, not a closed catalog. If your trainer talks those services, try Any BLE trainer. Wahoo units: Connect KICKR.
iPhone and iPad use Bluetooth only. No ANT+. Close Wahoo, Zwift, and other cycling apps before pairing — one app owns the trainer at a time.
VirtualRide reads watts, cadence, and speed. It does not send ERG, simulation, or gradient resistance. Set resistance on the trainer or in its own app.

Also among others
Any other indoor trainer or smart bike that advertises Bluetooth FTMS (0x1826) or Cycling Power (0x1818). Firmware, browser, and phone OS decide the rest. If it pairs in the Bluetooth picker and watts show, it is in.
Not these
- ANT+-only trainers. iPhone has no ANT+ radio.
- Dumb rollers or resistance units with no Bluetooth power or speed.
- Closed bikes that hide standard BLE cycling services (typical Peloton bike).
If yours is missing
Name on this page is a hint, not a guarantee. Wake the trainer, quit other apps, then Connect KICKR or Any BLE trainer. Still stuck? Email elmo.saukko@gmail.com with the model.
