VirtualRide processes the minimum data needed to run a paid Street View cycling app.
We do not store a recording of your ride, trainer power, or GPS track. Street View requests go from your browser to Google.
Email and Stripe IDs are used to authenticate you, take payment, and enforce the paywall. This is contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Stripe processes payments. Google receives map and Street View requests from your browser, including your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy. Hosting is on Cloudflare. We do not sell personal data.
An HttpOnly session cookie named vr keeps you signed in. It is not used for
advertising.
Account rows stay while your subscription exists and for a limited period after cancel so we can restore billing if you return. You can ask us to delete the account after cancel.
If you are in the EEA/UK you may access, correct, or delete your data, and complain to a supervisory authority (in Finland: Traficom / Data Protection Ombudsman).
Use Billing in the app or the email on your Stripe receipt.
